The Construction Process
- We start with a piece of land - either raw land or existing home site. It can be your land or ours.
- After accessing the property and obtaining construction financing a permit is pulled and we install a permit box.
- Next the equipment shows up to
dig the basement or foundation.
If weather permits, digging takes
one day.
- After the hole is dug we shape
one side of the hole to build a
pad to park the home on.
- We then begin to form the footing
and pour the concrete. This
process takes approximately
two days.
- We then strip the forms off of the footing and begin to set the forms for the walls. After setting all of
the wall forms we pour concrete. This process takes approximately
three days.
- We then strip the wall forms and back fill the dirt. This takes about one day to complete.
- Then your new home arrives in
two or more pieces. We park the home on the dirt pad next to
the wall.
- We then raise the home up on a
set of rollers and begin the
process to roll over onto the basement or foundation. This process takes
one day.
- After the first half is set into place the second half is pulled up to the wall. We then repeat the previous process to raise and roll over onto the foundation and bring the two
halves together.
- After squeezing the home together we begin the interior and exterior finishes. This entire process takes five to seven days.
- Interior close up.
- While the home is being set we
are working on utilities.
- We have the capacity to do electric.
- Your water – city, well or rural.
- Your sewer – city septic, septic field
or lagoon.
- Your gas – city or propane.
